Jocky Robertson on Reporting Scotland tonight????

Reporting Scotland were doing a piece on Scottish Screen Archive....old adverts etc...and I'm sure it was Jocky Robertson...in goal at Cathkin...lighting up a fag. No...I've not been on the LSD.....I'm sure it was him....some short film about smoking in the 50's. (obviously there wasnae a game on at the time...been good if there was though.....saving a penalty wi a Senior Service dangling fae his mooth).

It might be on the 10.30 bulletin....has/did anyone else saw/see this?

Hi Hi Hi,

It was Jocky Robertson you actually saw.  The full shot shows him collecting a Dave Hilley free kick, placing the ball at his feet, and casually "lighting up".

I can't remember the reason for this piece, but it was a good  photo   of our legend Goalie -  Wee Jocky.

Good spot Whitburn Jag there was also a pic of JR in today's Herald.

It appears to be an advert for 'Rocky Mount' fags perhaps it should have been for 'Jocky Mount' fags!!
Davie Hilley also identified but the other two??? will have to look closer smile

Talking of tabs i was at on old firm game at Hampden in the early 70s and Colin Stein and Willie Johnston came out for the start of the match with a fag cupped in their hands...changed days!!

Nice one bigeye ... I was surprised to see wee Jocky managing to reach the bar for that high ball ... if he wasn't standing on a box/chair then the goals couldn't have been full size!
