Anyone had a chance to see the new team that was resurrected play at Cathkin Park yet.


I saw them a couple of weeks ago win convincingly 6-1.  Great to have the HiHi name back

What league are they playing in and what is the full name of the new club? I've never heard of them competing at Cathkin Park again.

Hello mate,


They are currently playing in the under 19 Scottish Amateur Football League.  There next stop is to go to Under 21 level and after that to turn Junior which will be great if it happens.


Their home games are played at Cathkin Park usually at 2pm on a saturday afternoon, obviously at this stage of the year its a case of weather permitting for all football games.


The full name is "Third Lanark Athletic Club" after the great name and it is the same club crest they use.  The games I have caught have been entertaining and they are favourites to win their league.

PTL keep the forum up to date with games the new Thirds are playing as i may catch one.


I watch Pollok on match days so may be difficult to fit them in but i will at some point
