Third Lanark v Queens Park

Managed to catch the game yesterday and glad i did as it was infinitely more exciting than what i saw of the FA Cup Final.
Good win for Thirds 4-3 contrary to what the plonker (QP official) that was refereeing was trying to achieve with some horrendously biased decisions...try a couple of penalties for starters!!
The Thirds team were a credit to all and managed to 'keep the heid' under severe provocation from the comedy 'refs' decisions while playing some great football and bagging four cracking goals.
Enjoyed being back on the terraces and believe the crowd would have been bigger had the weather been better and not competing with TV football.
Well done to all involved with the match and well worth the admission money smile

Forgot to mention it was counted there was around 118 spectators about the terracing.  This does not count those sitting in the cars or vans in the car park beside the pitch who managed to avoid the rain, nor does it count those who were able to watch the game from the back door of the community hall.  Count all these and you have a good attendance for a match played in monsoon like conditions where we also had to compete with the FA cup being on.

If the weather had been nice and there had been no FA cup final we could have got a couple of hundred more there.smile
