Third Lanark in books

I was wondering aside from the much appreciated books that have been written by Bert BEll or Bob Laird is anyone aware of any books that have features on Third Lanark and I dont mean just a one or two references to the club.

As I was browsing through Archie McPehersons new book on Scottish football the other day and the whole of the first chapter is devoted to a comparison of Third Lanark and Celtic from 1960 to 1967. The only other examples I can think of substantial mentions of the club are Bob Crampseys 100 years of Scottish football and a football book that came out last year called "The Roar of the Crowd".
Does anyone else know other books out there that have numerous mentions of the HiHi?

Hi there.

I am the author of 'ROAR of the crowd' and I will be featuring Thirds in a new book entitled 'Very Heaven' which will be published later this year. This book will be an account of the 1966-67 season and will also take in high spots such as Scotland winning at Wembley, Celtic's European Cup triumph, Rangers reaching the Cup-Winners Cup Final, Kilmarnock in the semi-final of the Fairs Cup, Dundee United's double victory over Barcelona and Berwick Rangers beating their Glasgow namesakes in the Scottish Cup, as well as the undoubted low of the season - the demise of Third Lanark.

There will be more information on my website scottishleague.net as soon as I have any.

Will do. I've just received a lot of information today on the Third Lanark/Scotland tour of North America in 1921 which might interest Thirds fans http://scottishleague.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=588
