As part of the pre season St Bernards have invited Third Lanark to play through at their ground in Edinburgh for a pre season friendly on saturday 30th July. We intend to run a supporters bus that day, so please see seperate thread for this.
St Bernards like Third Lanark were a huge force in Scottish football and won the Scottish Cup. Sadly like Thirds they were lost to the game until recently reformed in Edinburgh a couple of years ago. Time for the game is still to be confirmed, as soon as it is I will post an update.
It is intended that this friendly between St Bernards and Third Lanark be an annual event and a cup is hoped to be produced for the occasion.

A quick update...The Rifle Volunteers Cup was won yesterday by Third Lanark after a thrilling encounter led to a 3-2 win in Edinburgh. Congratulations to the First XI and many thanks to St Bernards for being such wonderful hosts. The return will be at Cathkin next year !!
