Hi Just newly joined. Am a thistle and thirds supporter since a nipper - stayed away from the Rangers Celtic stuff on the advice of my Dad - probably the only time I took his advice. My father was Adam Forsyth who played for Thitle and Thirds in the fifties - I was wondering if anyone remembred him. I have a team photo somewhere in which amongst the others - Balunas, Robertson etc - is a skinny wee fair haired yoof called Ally McLeod - anyone remember him? Would love to hear from anyone
welcome hihithistle, I do remember your Dad, fine player he was too, centre half or midfield as I remember. can't put a face to him tho( too many years). I hope you read all the posts and" jine in" cheers Panda

Will 'jine in' as you suggest for a little stroll down amnesia lane - can't believe I'm obviously chatting with over fifties crumblies - like masel' - Ah should be on these over thirties chat lines until I look in the mirror. Some memories of Cathkin when I was young. My dad took me after he retired, but remember the Dressiing Room at the corner of the ground and him taking me in to the Dressing Room to meet some of the players. I remember Alex Harley and Dave Hilley - it was a Hibs game under lights. If I can find it, I'll see if I can dig out and scan a team photo in of a fifties Thirds team
