Hi Top Cat,
Well I'll be there, weather permitting. Seemingly a few new players on show recently and a great performance in the last away game which brought a 3 - 2 victory. Hopefully Thirds will soon be climbing the table. Need to find a Santa hat for the game though. Got to get into the festive spirit, after all! So, to all Thirds fans out there, come along and cheer on the team and bring some mince pies and a drop of the old gluwein along to warm us all up. You get to miss Christmas shopping with the wife as well! You know it makes sense.
See you at Cathkin. Up the 'HiHi'!

A very narrow 1-0 defeat to Alba Thistle. A very evenly matched first half saw both sides create a lot of chances. Both keepers pulled off a string of superb saves. HiHi goalkeeper Tony Coyle providing fantastic saves similar to that of the late great HiHi legend Jocky Robertson.

Second half and in the first 5 mins Thirds down to 10 men following s stupid lunge by Thirds player McGeeky, credit to them though again it was an evenly contested second half both teams with lots of chances and in the last 5 minutes Alba took the lead. Was a real sickner to lose the game by a late goal in the last 5 minutes. Very inlucky HiHi, some fine performances and all the best for 2008 Thirds
