There is a great website that has been set up by George Cavanagh and fans of Meadowbank Thistle. As well as giving all sorts of information on this much missed Edinburgh team there are lots of features on Third Lanark including reviews and actual footage from the new Third Lanark teams games as well as features on the recent 40th Anniversary night. George made it through to the game at Cathkin last saturday against Muirend and there is a review as well as photos etc from it.
Its an excellent website and can be found by just typing into yahoo or google Meadowbank Thistle. Interestingly enough there is a Meadowbank Thistle/Ferranti Thistle reunion day planned for next sunday and any Hi-Hi fans residing in Auld Reekie would be most welcome to attend. Hope its a great day for George and the Meadowbank Thistle fans. Their support of Third Lanark and look forward to catching up with them at Cathkin Park again real soon. Wouldnt it be fantastic if one day we could get a Third Lanark v Meadowbank Thistle game.
